About

Our Story

Good Hope Baptist Church is a longstanding Baptist congregation serving families in Jetersville and the greater Amelia County community.

The church represents generations of worship, fellowship, family connections, and community life — Sunday mornings, homecomings, revivals, funerals, weddings, choir rehearsals, and quiet acts of care that never made it into a program.

Good Hope continues its mission as “A church that serves God and the community.”

Our deeper history is still being gathered. As historical records, photographs, anniversary programs, and stories from longtime members become available, they will be preserved and shared on this page.

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.”

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Our Legacy

Faith Passed From Generation to Generation

Good Hope's story lives not only in a building, but in the generations of people who have worshiped, served, celebrated, mourned, prayed, and grown together here.
